Contextual directionality

Within a paragraph, sequences of characters with the same directionality are automatically identified as LTR or RTL directional runs, or contextual regions. Consecutive regions within the same paragraph are rendered in an order determined by the paragraph directionality. The following example illustrates the rendering order for a paragraph containing three directional runs, and where the paragraph directionality is LTR:
