Interword spacing

Spacing between words is defined by a preferred minimum and maximum interword space, expressed as a percentage of the font size in force at the start of each paragraph. In justified text, the interword space width will be somewhere between the permitted minimum and maximum values. Spacing between words can vary slightly from line to line, though all word spacing within the same line will be the same. TopLeaf can also use hyphenation to avoid exceeding the maximum acceptable interword space.

In unjustified text, the minimum interword space width determines the spacing between each word.
