Cell indents group

While the Spacing group positions the table as a whole, the Cell indents group sets indents within a table cell. Cell indents distance cell contents from the cell borders, or from the contents of adjacent cells. The indents are always positive, and always point into the cell. Values are:

  • Top — minimum distance between the contents and the top of the cell.

  • Bottom — minimum distance between the contents and the bottom of the cell.

  • Sides — minimum distance between the contents and the sides of the cell.

Margins or paragraph spacing applied by mappings within a cell will be added to these indents.
