Choose import actions

This allows you to select the import action for each mapping.

The icons in the Merge column indicate any property conflicts between the mapping to be imported and the existing mapping:

  • indicates that the mapping has the same name as an existing mapping, but there are no property conflicts.

  • indicates that there is at least one property conflict between the two mappings.

  • indicates that the two mappings have different classes, so cannot be merged.

In the Action column select the appropriate action for each mapping:

  • Ignore means that the mapping will not be imported.

  • Add is only available for mappings that do not have the same name as an existing mapping.

  • Merge and retain means that the imported mapping is merged with the corresponding existing mapping. If there are any property conflicts, the property value from the existing mapping is used.

  • Merge and replace means that the imported mapping is merged with the corresponding existing mapping. If there are any property conflicts, the property value from the imported mapping is used.

To set the action values to a different default, use the < Back button and select the appropriate value.
