Last/Right Indent

The Last/Right indent is similar, except that it cannot be negative:

  • If zero (the default), then the last line has the same right margin as the rest of the paragraph. Note however that, unless the paragraph is right aligned, the last line typically finishes somewhat short of the right margin.

  • If positive, then the last line is permitted to finish further to the right than the rest of the paragraph. This is typically used with a filler to set out the text at the very end of the paragraph thus:

    Note that a positive Last/Right value has no effect unless the last line contains a <fill/> command which can make use of the extra space.
