Levels and mappings

TopLeaf provides five levels of running head. The content of each level is assigned via the Mapping Editor Content tab (see “Running heads”) and can be cleared via the End Tag tab (Cancel group”).

Remember that whenever a higher level (1 is the highest) is assigned or cleared, all lower levels are cleared automatically.

Running heads are also cleared when the page type changes.

There is one mapping for each level — $runhead1 to $runhead5. All running head levels inherit from the $document mapping. Running head mappings do not inherit any properties from a lower running head level, so you must set fonts, margins for each level you need to print.
