Passing PI content as a list of attributes

If the content of a processing instruction declares one or more ‘attribute’ assignments or one or more string tokens, you can pass the content to the custom marker as a series of attributes.

For example, if you map the processing instruction:

<?Effect _cellfont FontColor="#ffffff" Shading="#000080" ?>

to the %Effect custom marker handler using:

<pimap name="Effect" custom-marker="Effect" data="attributes" />

the following custom marker will be generated:

<Effect _cellfont="1" FontColor="#ffffff" Shading="#000080" />
[Note] Note

The value 1 is used as the attribute value if none is specified (see _cellfont in the above example).
