Page folio format

When using a partition based numbering scheme, the page folio format defines the numbering style of the primary folio index and point page levels for each leaf. If you are using a section based numbering scheme, the page folio format control the numbering style for the folio sequence number and point page levels of a leaf.

The page folio format is assigned when you create a full looseleaf mainwork and cannot be changed in a subsequent update.

The 999(a) page folio format supports the use of a single point page level. Use the 999(abcd) page folio format if your content requires more than one alpha point page level. See also Implementation - Page folio format.
