Library Interface

The format of an API call using the library interface will depend on the language being used. This manual uses C function call syntax to describe API calls, as follows:

Library call:
nStatus = function-name (arg1, arg2 ...)

The name of each parameter indicates its type. A name starting with “s” indicates a string (e.g. sPart) while a name starting with “n” indicates a long integer (e.g. nStatus).

A “p” at the start of a parameter name indicates it is a pointer to a value (e.g. pnStatus is a pointer to a long integer).
