Partition Paths

The repository is organised as a hierarchy, with partitions at the lowest level. A partition contains data to be composed, and is the focus of most API calls.

A partition path contains all of the levels starting from the repository root down to the target partition, with a “/” between each pair of components. Do not use backslash (“\”) characters in partition paths.

When creating a partition using Make Partition ensure that the partition path only contains alphanumeric and space characters.

For example, if the repository is located at C:\TopLeaf, a partition path of Demonstrations/Glossary/Glossary refers to the partition located at C:\TopLeaf\Demonstrations\Glossary\Glossary.

See the User Guide for a list of known repository name restrictions.
